Foreign Minister Tuomioja: The European Union is against the death penalty

According to Minister for Foreign Affairs Erkki Tuomioja the EU opposes the death penalty also in the case of Saddam Hussein who was executed on Saturday morning.
Tuomioja also reminds that doubts were expressed about the impartiality of the trial.
