Webcasts
The main press conferences and public sessions of the Council were webcast on this site, and the recordings can be viewed from the archive. The webcasts were produced for the Presidency by the Presidency web team, the Presidency host broadcaster, YLE, and the Council of the European Union. Live and recorded interpretation for the webcasts was provided by European Commission's Directorate-General for Interpretation (SCIC).
Archived webcasts can be found on menu on the left side of this the page. Software, such as the RealPlayer Program, that is able to play RealMedia files (.rm), is required to view webcasts. A free application for the program can be downloaded at www.real.com.
