Public transport routes and timetables
Helsinki City Transport offers a frequent and punctual tram service. (City of Helsinki)
Journey.fi provides door-to-door transport information. Currently the service holds approximately 190,000 service routes and more than 20,000 stops.
The Journey.fi service is operated by the Ministry of Transport and Communications The data in the system is provided by Matkahuolto, Finnish bus and coach operators, Finnish Railways, Helsinki Metropolitan Area Council, Tampere City Transport and the cities of Joensuu, Kuopio, Lappeenranta, Mikkeli and Oulu. Information on fares and routes can also be found on the websites of the towns where meetings take place.
Trains

There are frequent and punctual rail connections throughout the country, with the exception of the region north of the town of Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland. Train timetables, information on service points and online ticket sales are available in English on the Finnish Railways' website. The timetables are also available in pdf format.

Buses and coaches
There are efficient bus services throughout Finland. Timetables are available on the Matkahuolto Group’s website. Bus tickets can be purchased from the driver or from the Matkahuolto service points located throughout Finland. The Helsinki bus terminal is situated at the Kamppi Center. At Helsinki-Vantaa Airport bus tickets can be bought from the service desk in arrivals hall No 3.
