Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is located 20 km north of Helsinki. There are more than 120 international flights arriving every day. A journey from the airport to central Helsinki takes about 30-40 minutes. Buses run between the airport and central Helsinki every 10-20 minutes. Helsinki International Airport (known locally as Helsinki-Vantaa Airport) offers connections to most of the meeting towns. Tampere-Pirkkala Airport is located 17 kilometres north of Tampere. Finnair operates flights between Tampere and Helsinki and Blue1 between Tampere and Stockholm and between Tampere and Copenhagen. Ryanair has inexpensive flights from several European countries to and out of Tampere. Buses run between the airport and Tampere in line with flight timetables. Oulu Airport is located 15 km north of Oulu. Finnair and SAS/Blue1 have regular flights to and out of Oulu. There are direct flights from Helsinki, Rovaniemi, Kemi-Tornio and Stockholm.
On weekdays, buses run between the airport and central Oulu every 20 minutes and during weekends every 60 minutes. A journey from the airport to central Oulu takes about 25 minutes. Service desks of car rental companies are located at the airport.

Turku Airport
Turku Airport is located eight kilometres north of Turku. There are frequent flight connections between Helsinki and Turku. There are also daily flights between Turku and Stockholm and between Turku and Copenhagen. Turku Airport is served by Finnair, Finncomm Airlines and SAS/Blue1. Rovaniemi Airport
The Rovaniemi Airport is located near the Arctic Circle some 150 kilometres south of Kittilä. Flights to Rovaniemi are operated by Finnair, Blue1 and Aeroflot. Airport bus services run between the airport and the city centre.
There are busses and taxis for travelling between Rovaniemi and Kittilä. A taxi journey from Rovaniemi to Kittilä takes about two hours and costs some €200. There are car rental services at the airport and a rental car can be reserved in advance. It is best to check a suitable bus connection between Rovaniemi and Kittilä in connection with the reservation for a flight or journey by train.

Kittilä Airport is located some 5 kilometres north of the centre of Kittilä and approximately 15 kilometres south of Levitunturi. Scheduled flights to Kittilä are operated by Finnair. There are bus services to Levi connecting with each flight. A taxi journey to the centre of Kittilä takes about 20 minutes. There are car rental services at the airport and a rental car can be reserved in advance.
